Herra Hakkarainen has picked some of his favourite books to read. Herra Hakkarainen is played by actor Jorma Tommila and the story moments are directed by theatres director Seppo Välinen. 10 €/ticket (normally 18/13 €).

Emperor’s New Clothes is a colourful and thought-provoking experience for young and old. Through music, dance and excellent costume design, we follow the making of the emperor’s new clothes and the anticipation and despair as a new wonder fabric is created. The performance is in Swedish and is designed for 3–8-year-olds. Tickets: 6 €/child, 10 €/adult.

At the workshop we’ll do art on cardboard, plates and pieces of board with the whole family. For painting we use everything but brushes: frying spatulas, whisks, twigs, dish brushes… You can bring your own twig, whisk, etc. or use the supplies found in the workshop for painting. You can take the artwork home with you or donate it to the Puddle exhibition. Free entry.

The Jaguar and the Night Leopard invite soft toys to a sleepover at the museum! You can bring your soft toy to the museum on Friday 27 October between 11am and 5pm and pick it up on Saturday 28 October between 11am and 5pm.

You can bring a bed or blanket for your soft toy from home. The museum staff will take down the details of your toy to ensure that it is properly cared for. Next week, you can follow how the night went on the Kuntsi Museum of Modern Art’s Facebook page.

You can take the stuffed toy with you on the Jaguars stuffed toy tour on Saturday 28 Octoberat 11:15 am in Finnish and 11:45 am in Swedish.
