Hot midwinter festival celebration at Vaasan Sähkö Arena

Over the years, Vaasan Sähkö Arena has hosted many major music events in the Ostrobothnia region. One of them was the new generation winter event, the Polar Sound Festival. The three day music festival targeted at young adults was arranged at the Arena four times from 2013 to 2016. The hugely popular event featured several top performers, including Scooter (GER), E-Type (SWE), Pandora (SWE), Village People (USA), and Finnish top favourites Apulanta, Vesala, JVG, Abreu, Antti Tuisku, Sanni and many others.

Flexible, diverse and customer-oriented cooperation

In 2016, the two-day festival attracted up to 10,000 visitors. The feedback received from participants was excellent, and for the wintertime festival, Vaasan Sähkö Arena proved to be the perfect venue. The festival organiser has been extremely satisfied with the long-term cooperation.
