Double bass - Principal
Since autumn 2017, Pontus Grans has been the principal double bass in the Vaasa City Orchestra. Previously, Grans was a principal in the Oulu Symphony Orchestra. Grans is originally from Lohja, and he has studied in the Sibelius Academy e.g. under Panu Pärssinen. Grans performs regularly as a chamber musician as well as in the Wegelius Kammarstråkar chamber orchestra.
