Art Splash

Arts Splashes are interactive and free workshops, performances, or artistic events aimed at children under 12 and their families.

Arts Splash grant application period is in April. Three grants of €500 each will be awarded for Arts Splashes.

Arts Splashes are preferably scheduled for Saturday mornings on 5 October, 12 October, and 19 October, from 10:00 to 14:00; times typically favoured by families. The venue is Draama Hall, at the Main Library, Kirjastonkatu 13. The cultural services offer the venue during the times mentioned above. If needed, the applicant can also suggest another time and place.

The Arts Splashes to be implemented will be selected by the Puddle Curators, an expert group of children, during May.

It’s advisable to include a preview advertisement with the application to facilitate children’s decision-making.
