The museums of Vaasa include the Ostrobothnian Museum, the Kuntsi Museum of Modern Art, the Tikanoja Art Museum, and the Museum of Old Vaasa.
The museums of Vaasa preserve the intangible and tangible cultural heritage and communicate it to the public through the collections they hold. The museums produce exhibitions and other museum and cultural environment services, and seek to support identities, transmit knowledge, and provide experiences.
The Museums of Vaasa carry out a regional responsibility for museums in the province of Ostrobothnia.

The Kuntsi Museum of Modern Art offers changing exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. Enjoy contemporary art amid the coastal landscapes of Vaasa.
The Tikanoja Art Home offers exhibitions of domestic and foreign old art, cultural-historical exhibitions, as well as collection exhibitions.
The Museum of Old Vaasa is located in the Wasastjerna House in the Old Vaasa district. Visitors can explore the history of Vaasa before the fire of 1852, which destroyed a large part of the city.
