INSPIRE Invasive Species: Information, Restoration and Engagement

INSPIRE is a project focusing on invasive species, spreading information, improving engagement, the eradication of invasive species, restoration of areas with invasive species and the development of invasive species communication. Project is done in cooperation with the ELY Center, the Federation of Lapland (Lapin liitto), the Swedish Länstyrelsen, and the city of Umeå. The goal of the project is to improve knowledge and methods for the restoration of areas with invasive species and cross border cooperation. This project is a continuation of another project focused on invasive species called Inspect, which ran between 2019-2021.
