Artistivarikko

The Artist Depot project aims to improve the relevance and accessibility of education in the music industry by producing a new type of “Artist Depot” training package. The training is aimed at artists and bands at different stages of their careers, is work-oriented and aims to improve their business skills and employability.
In the Artistivarkko project, a comprehensive and detailed information artist’s artist information package will be prepared in the Rhythm Manual, which will also be distributed as educational material to music schools.
The objectives of the project are: 1) to increase the substantive and business skills of artists and bands and to improve employment. 2) To provide job opportunities for professionals in the field as trainers and to improve their working situation, 3) to develop a new training model suitable for the current situation of popular music, 4) to develop better access to education and regional equality, and 5) to promote co-operation opportunities for networking of emerging talent.
The result of the project is new training and new learning materials. It raises the level of skills and employment of artists and bands, and improves the relevance and accessibility of music education.
