Vaasa is hiring 25 new teachers

The City of Vaasa’s recruitment process for teachers in Finnish-language basic education starts on 12 February and runs until 6 March. The application will take place via Kuntarekry.
The Finnish basic education sector is looking for class teachers, lecturers in various subjects, special class teachers, special education teachers, and full-time classroom teachers. The positions are permanent and will start next autumn.
The call for applications will be open on Kuntarekry from 12 February to 6 March 2024. There are 25 vacancies in total, all of which can be found on the Kuntarekry website.
– We are now offering excellent jobs for professionals of education in competent teams. The jobs are varied and include classroom teachers, special needs teachers, and teachers of language immersion, says Anne Lindell, recruitment manager for the City of Vaasa.
The City of Vaasa is one of the major employers in the region and continuously needs new skilled people: young people for summer jobs, students for temporary work, recent graduates, and experienced professionals for a variety of challenging positions.
The Swedish-language primary education positions will be announced later in the spring.
