The parking area at the Vaasa Travel Centre is expanded

31 new paid parking spaces will be added to the parking area at Vaasa Travel Centre. The expansion will focus on the eastern end of the parking area, which was previously reserved for the use of Matkahuolto staff.
The City of Vaasa is expanding the paid parking area at the Travel Centre. The current paid parking area with 43 spaces, next to the Travel Centre, is often fully occupied. The goal of increasing the number of parking spaces is to ease parking around the Travel Centre and improve the accessibility of local services for travellers.
The new parking spaces will be located at the eastern end of the parking area along Ratakatu, near the intersection of Klemetinkatu and Ratakatu.
The pricing for the new, expanded area will follow Zone 3 rates, which are already used for other paid parking spaces in the area.
The extension of the parking area is now open for use, and traffic signs indicating the parking regulations have been installed.
