Temporary changes to bus routes from 14 April

Due to construction work starting on Korsholmanpuistikko, some bus stops will be closed, and five bus routes will temporarily follow detours. The temporary arrangements will begin on Monday, 14 April and are expected to remain in place until 22 April 2025.
The changes affect routes 1, 4, 4V, 7 and 7K, which will temporarily run from Hietalahdenkatu to Raastuvankatu. Buses coming from the north will operate as usual, with no changes to their routes.
The bus stops at Hietalahdenkatu 5 (Central Hospital), Hietalahdenkatu 11, and Korsholmanpuistikko 9 will be out of service for the duration of the temporary arrangements.
The changes will also affect other traffic from 7 April onwards
Vaasa Water will be upgrading the main water pipeline on Korsholmanpuistikko, between Koulukatu and Raastuvankatu, from 7 April to 31 May 2025. Altered traffic arrangements in the area will be in place from 7 April onwards. Residents are advised to use alternative routes.
