Take part in the selection of a Vaasa cultural achievement – nominate your candidate and vote

Residents can once again nominate the Vaasa Cultural Achievement of 2024 until the end of January. The award is given to an individual or group who have contributed to the enrichment of the cultural life in Vaasa. Based on the nominations, the city’s Cultural Services will select three candidates to proceed, and the public can then vote for their favourite throughout February.
The City of Vaasa presents the Vaasa Cultural Achievement of the Year Award in early 2025. The award will be presented for activities in 2024. Residents can nominate candidates until 31 January 2025.
This year, the selection process has been updated. The city’s Cultural Services will select three final candidates, and the public can vote for their favourite throughout February on the city’s social media channels and online.
The award recognises a cultural achievement by an individual or group that has contributed to or diversified the city’s cultural life through their existence or activities in 2024.

The award is worth 2,000 euros and is being presented for the sixth time.
