Sign up to perform – Feasta Maraton brings local artists to the stage at Culture House Fanny in May

Performers from all musical genres are welcome to sign up for the event: rappers, solo artists, duos and bands are all welcome on stage. The organisers particularly encourage new acts to take part – especially those performing for a Vaasa audience for the first time. Independent, self-releasing artists are also welcome to take part.

Feasta Maraton will begin at 19 end at 23.40 on both evenings. Each evening’s programme will feature six artists or bands, each with a 30-minute set. The sets will be followed by a 20-minute break and an interview with the performer.

To allow for quick setup of the stage and sound equipment, the stage is equipped with fixed drums and other audio gear. The sound is managed by R-Production’s sound engineer, with support from the stage manager and technical staff throughout the evening.

The selection of performers will take into account the content of their performance, the music sample they submitted, and the information provided during signup. Sign up by email to max.backman@vaasa.fi. Please attach a stage plan, a music sample, a photo, and information about the artist or band. If you wish, you may also request a preferred performance date and time.

Entry to the event is free, but there is a €2 cloakroom charge. The licensing area is run by Ukkokari Oy. Feasta Maraton also serves as a networking platform for local artists and music industry professionals.
