Ride for free with Lifti – Car-Free Day is on September 22nd

We offer free bus rides on Car-Free Day, Sunday, September 22nd. The offer applies to all Lifti routes except for service buses.

On Car-Free Day, residents can use Lifti buses for free all day, from morning until evening.

– We want to encourage everyone to travel sustainably and make using Lifti easy. Traveling by bus is an eco-friendly choice, and we hope more people will see the bus as a viable alternative to their own car, says Vaasa’s traffic manager, Pertti Hällilä.

Car-Free Day is part of the European Mobility Week, celebrated annually from September 16th to 22nd.
