Review of Vaasa-based artists in October – apply by 27 September

The event be organised in Vaasa for the sixth time on Friday, 18 October 2024 and Saturday, 19 October 2024 from 19–23. The venue is Culture House Fanny (Kirkkopuistikko 34), where the event first started in 2018.

All styles of music are welcome, but at least one of the songs to be performed must be original. In addition, the performers must be based in Vaasa.

The event will have a jury of media representatives, festival and event organisers, and musicians. Guest experts will also participate to share their experiences and give advice. The jury will provide feedback to the performers after the event.

The deadline for bands and artists to apply is 27 September 2024 by email to max.backman@vaasa.fi. When registering, please send a stage map, a music sample, a photo, and additional information about the band or artist. You can also include a request for the date on which you wish to play.

A fixed drum kit and other sound equipment will be available on stage, and a sound engineer will be on hand. Each act will have 10 minutes to perform.

Feasta reviews are open to all ages and are free of charge. The venue will feature a restricted, supervised area where alcohol will be served. The event is organised by the City of Vaasa Culture and Library Services in cooperation with Volume.
