Registration for the Night of the Arts is now open – the event itself will take place on 14 August

The much-loved Night of the Arts will take over Vaasa on 14 August 2025. Registration begins on 20 March and runs until 31 May.

The organisers are seeking a diverse programme, including music and art performances, as well as activities and events hosted by associations and clubs. The popular Night of the Arts procession will take place again this year, as in previous years. This year, a new addition to the programme is the Art Village at Vaasa Market Square, which is also open for applications.

The City of Vaasa’s website has separate registration forms for music performances and all other Night of the Arts performances. Dance groups, associations, and other ensembles can register for the procession using the designated form.

– The Night of the Arts is a celebration for all Vaasa residents, and we hope to include art and culture in all its forms in the programme, says Geir Byrkjeland, Cultural Producer with the City of Vaasa’s Cultural and Library Services.
