Registration for TaiKon’s summer camp begins on March 18

The Art at the Barracks camp will take place from June 3 to 14, 2024, at TaiKon’s premises in the barracks area. Registrations for the camp will open on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 11:00. Check out the camp’s detailed information and register here!

The camp is bilingual, with classes conducted in both Finnish and Swedish. Participants will have the opportunity to explore up to ten different art subjects in workshops, using various materials and means of expression. The art subjects will be guided by experienced art teachers of TaiKon.

The camp is aimed at primary school students in grades 1 to 6, divided into two age groups: 7–9-year-olds and 10–13-year-olds. For children born in 2014–2016, supervised afternoon care will be provided until 16:00. The camp fee is €120, and with afternoon care, it is €175.

Summer camps for children and youth are also organised by the City of Vaasa’s sports and youth services. Information about these camps will be provided separately later on the City of Vaasa’s website and social media channels, as well as on Wilma.
