Registration for EnergyWeek 2025 is open

Published: 21.1.2025

Registration for this year’s edition of the most important networking and sales event in the Nordic countries for the energy sector is now open. This year, EnergyWeek offers more content than ever during four event-packed days from March 17 to 20.

EnergyWeek annually attracts several thousand local, national, and international experts to the City Hall in Vaasa. Over the years, the event has become a key meeting place and platform for presenting new innovations and trends and discussing opportunities and challenges in the energy industry.

– It’s fantastic to see how more and more organisations are choosing to actively take part in EnergyWeek. This year, we have a record number of seminars scheduled throughout the week, with several entirely new events among the 28 seminars. A recurring theme this year is discussions about international collaborations and opportunities, particularly within Europe, says Kristoffer Jansson, Brand & Communication Manager at EnergyVaasa.

The week’s popular main themes include energy and climate, wind and renewable energy, energy storage and clean gas energy. Other themes visitors can look forward to are, for example, circular economy, cybersecurity, AI in data centers, innovative energy technologies, and the future workforce. Additionally, the City of Vaasa and the European Innovation Council are introducing a brand-new opportunity for deep-tech start-ups and SMEs from Europe to pitch their innovations on-site in Vaasa. – Above all, EnergyWeek is a networking event. There will be opportunities to book meetings in advance in the matchmaking area, which is open from Tuesday to Thursday. We also expect a full house in the exhibition halls. The wind exhibition and the energy storage exhibition are sold out, and there are only a few spots left in the clean gas energy exhibition, Jansson concludes.

  • Vaasa EnergyWeek is a four-day event organised collaboratively by about thirty organisations. EnergyVaasa/Vaasa Region Development Company VASEK is the main coordinator of the event. Check out the program and register: www.energyweek.fi.
  • Except for the Energy and Climate Seminar on Monday, EnergyWeek will be held in English.
  • EnergyVaasa is the largest energy technology hub in the Nordic countries and includes companies that develop sustainable, energy-saving technological solutions that reduce emissions. EnergyVaasa includes more than 180 companies with more than 13,000 employees in total.
