Pitkäkatu to be temporarily one-way between Hietasaarenkatu and Hovioikeudenpuistikko

Pitkäkatu will be temporarily one-way between Hietasaarenkatu and Hovioikeudenpuistikko from 25 November 2024 to 31 March 2025. Traffic from Hietasaarenkatu to Vaasanpuistikko will proceed as usual, but traffic coming from the direction of Vaasanpuistikko will be diverted via Hovioikeudenpuistikko.

The changes are due to the demanding nature of the work being carried out at the Central construction site. An access road for trucks will be constructed at the site to allow for the unloading of construction elements by tower crane.

In addition, Rosteninkatu will be closed for a few days due to concrete pouring work at the site.

The arrangements will be made to ensure the safety of both workers and passers-by.
