Participate in the naming contest for the new mobile library!

Vaasa City Library invites everyone to suggest names for our new mobile library! You can suggest new names on the city’s website from 7 to 27 November 2024. A Vaasa-themed prize will be awarded to the person whose name suggestion is selected.
Vaasa’s new mobile library will arrive in early 2025 and its exterior will be designed by a professional artist.
When considering name suggestions, feel free to draw inspiration from the following themes, which will be featured on the new mobile library:
- The joy of reading
- A focus on children
- A fairytale world or a fantasy world
- The sea and happiness
- Joy and vibrant colours
- New things to see and experience
Here’s how to participate
Submit your name suggestion via this link by 26 November 2024 to enter the contest! You can also suggest a name on the city’s social media channels.
The winner of the contest will be announced later this autumn and will receive a Vaasa-themed prize.
