Parking at the port will become subject to a fee – the first hour will be free near the port’s canteen

Parking at the Port of Vaasa became chargeable as of 5 February. There are now two paid parking areas at the port. Parking costs €0.70 per hour, or €3.20 per day. However, parking is free for one hour with a parking disc in the parking area next to the Vaskiluoto canteen.
Finding an available parking space at the port during peak seasons can be difficult, and the same spaces are also used by the people working in Vaskiluoto.
Both parking areas have parking meters, and payment can also be made via a mobile app.
The first hour is free in the parking area next to the port’s canteen. The one-hour free parking with a parking disc is a trial that will run until the end of 2025.
