Mini-Lifti car sharing available for rent during summer

The City of Vaasa’s Mini-Lifti car-sharing vehicles are available for rent from June 24 to August 4, 2024. Typically reserved for city employees on weekdays from 7:00 to 16:30, these cars can be booked by anyone during the summer holiday season, including during office hours.
In addition to residents, tourists can also take advantage of the cars that also happen to be located conveniently in the city centre. They provide an easy way to explore the Kvarken Archipelago and the unique World Heritage area, says Heli Killinen, who manages the Mini-Lifti program for the city.
The Mini-Lifti cars are parked at the parking lot in the address Kirkkopuistikko 26. Omago operates the vehicles, handling maintenance, cleanliness, insurance, and the booking application. Reservations and unlocking the cars can be done at any time of day via the Omago app.
Over the summer, the current cars will be replaced with new models. The existing Nissan Leafs will be replaced by three automatic Hyundai Kona Electric cars. Instructions on the website and inside the cars will be updated accordingly. Booking the cars remains as straightforward as before.
