Gritting gravel is available at the former bus station

Gritting gravel will be available from 15 January onwards at the parking area of the former bus station at Sepänkyläntie 1. Residents may collect gravel for personal use in a bucket or other container, but trailers are not permitted.

– Gritting helps prevent slipping accidents in icy winter conditions. The gravel is intended for private household use and will be available while supplies last, says Pertti Lähteenmäki, Maintenance Supervisor.
