Greetings from the Puddle – apply for Art Splash grant, application is now open!

The Puddle culture weeks for children is held in October for families and children in Vaasa. October 2024, approximately 4500 children and adults enjoyed the Puddle activities.
Puddle network for children´s culture in Vaasa has started the planning for culture weeks for children held in October 2025. The Art Splash grant application is open until the end of April. In May Baby Puddle event aimed at families with babies will offer The experiential colour workshops for babies and rhyme bath.
Throughout October, any operators creating activities for children and families can submit their offerings for Puddle by August 8. The registration form: Register for Puddle 2025 | Vaasa.
Arts Splash grant application is open until the end of April
Art Splash are interactive and free workshops, performances, or artistic events aimed at children under 12 and their families. The aim of Art Splash is to bring joy and memorable experiences. Three grants of €500 each will be awarded for Art Splash. The application form: Art Splash grant | Vaasa.
Art Splash are scheduled for Saturday mornings on 4 October, 11 October, and 18 October, from 10:00 to 14:00; times typically favored by families. Another time can also be suggested. The Art Splashes to be implemented will be selected by the Puddle Curators, an expert group of children, during May. It’s advisable to include a preview advertisement with the application to facilitate children’s decision-making.
May launches the Baby Puddle
For the very youngest family members Baby puddle on May 15 offers culture. Parents with babies under 12 months can participate in The experiential colour workshops for babies at the Kuntsi Museum of Modern Art, workshops require pre-registration. The planning of children’s culture weeks has begun, and the hope is to bring together a wide range of local children’s culture actors and offer families with children in Vaasa high-quality children’s culture in Puddle this year as well.
