Free bus travel on weekends until the end of the year

The City of Vaasa will provide free bus travel to residents on weekends in November and December. The free service will come into effect next weekend, 6-7 November, and covers local routes 1, 2, 7, and 9 operated by Wasa Citybus.

– We want to encourage sustainable mobility and make it easy to use the local buses during the weekends when they are free. For example, wheelchair users with an assistant can now try out how Vaasa’s local buses are suitable for their needs, says Vaasa’s public transport planner Heli Killinen.

Riding on buses is free throughout the weekend from Saturday morning to Sunday evening. Find more detailed timetables on the Vaasa public transport website.
