Face mask recommendation ends in schools for grades 3 and 4

The face mask recommendation will end for third and fourth grade pupils attending Vaasa primary schools from 2 February. However, the face mask recommendation still applies to pupils attending grades 5-9.
The change of policy is based on a decision made by the Ostrobothnia Corona Coordination Group on 1 February.
Previously, the face mask recommendation applied to grades 3-9 in primary education. The face mask recommendation remains valid until further notice for pupils in grades 5-9.
Two face masks per school day are distributed to every pupil attending school.
