Alma is part of the Silta project

Alma Adult Education Centre is part of the City of Vaasa Employment Services Silta project! During the project, Alma offers the unique course "Silta työelämään," which aims to speed up integration into the labor market and lower employment barriers for immigrants. The course is held in Finnish
The course has already been held three times since the fall, and nearly 40 participants have received support in advancing their employment.
On the course:
- Strengthening basic skills
- Improving work capacity
- Learning Finnish for the workplace
- Enhancing mental health and well-being
- Diving into Finnish culture
- Updating job-seeking skills and exploring entrepreneurship
In the academic year 2025–26, four new courses will be offered, which can be registered for later!
