Reimari - Youth Information and Counselling Service
The youth information and counseling service Reimari is aimed at all young people in Vaasa under the age of 29.
Reimari – youth information and councelling service is preventive youth work that offers professional information, guidance, and advice on all kinds of issues and situations that young people might face. Reimari’s goal is to support young people’s growth, independence, and well-being.
Services are curated according to the information and support that young people need. In addition to young people, our services aim to help also the parents of young people, various professionals working with young people, and those teaching and studying youth work.
By offering information and counselling, we want to increase the well-being of the city’s young people. Well-being is based on life management skills, possibilities for independence, and strong sense of social agency, and we offer support instrengthening all of those by providing comprehensive information as well as professional advice and guidance. The objective is for young people to live independent and fulfilling lives, choosing their own direction and pace.
Reimari staff provides young people with professional guidance, information, and advice on various aspects of young people’s lives. Services are available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
