Outreach Youth Work
Outreach youth work is intended for Vaasa-based young people aged 15–29 who want support in planning their future and managing everyday matters.
The service is voluntary, free of charge, and confidential.
Outreach Youth Work can help you in many issues. For example, we can help young people who:
- need support in planning their future
- need information about different study options
- is looking for a job or internship
- needs help with housing and livelihood matters
- is unsure about their future plans and wants to explore different options
- is considering issues related to mental health or substance use
- is considering interrupting their studies
- has interrupted military or civilian service
We are one of the distributors of the city’s “Kaikukortti” (Culture Card). Contact us if you want to learn more about it and possibly get one for yourself.
How to proceed?
No referral is needed; anyone can inform us of their concerns about a young person after discussing with the young person themselves, their parents, or another close person.
We will find a suitable service together with the young person and assist in moving things forward. We will support the young person for as long as necessary.
Contact us via social media (Facebook, Instagram), phone, email, or electronic services: fill out the form here. You can also visit us in person to talk.
