Skateboard Hall
The skateboard hall maintained by the Vaasa City Youth Services is located in Huutoniemi. The use of the skateboard hall is free for everyone and is open on weekdays.

Primary schoolers (1-6 graders)

- Wed 14–18
- Thu 14–18 (only girls)
- Fri 14–17
Secondary schoolers (7-9 graders) and above
- Mon 17-21
- Tue 17-21
- Wed 18-21
- Thu 18-21
- Fri 17-21
On Saturdays and Sundays, the skateboard hall is closed, providing an opportunity for renting the hall, for example, for birthday parties.
For the safety of all participants
- wearing a helmet is recommended in the hall
- helmet use is mandatory during sessions for elementary school students
- scootering is only allowed during primary school children’s shifts
- BMX bikes must have plastic pegs on both the front and rear wheels.
We reserve the right to make schedule changes if necessary.

Equipment rental
Would you like to try skateboarding or scootering, but don’t have the equipment?
During opening hours, it’s possible to borrow a skateboard or scooter for free at the skateboard hall for a trial run. Protective gear and helmets are also available for borrowing.
