Vaasa birdlife

Which species of birds nest in coniferous forests and which species thrive in farmlands? Which birds are our neighbors in the cultural landscape? The answers to these questions are easy to find by exploring these pages and in the process getting acquainted with the bird species in Vaasa and their respective habitats.

The various species are divided according to their natural habitats. The species within each habitat are listed in taxonometric order. A total of 101 species of birds are presented, each with their respective distribution map, unless the particular species is endangered or protected.
