Masterclass

Kuula-opisto’s masterclass is a project aimed at particularly advanced students, providing a wider scope of instruction and an inspiring learning environment. Masterclass students regularly perform in concerts and represent the institute at various events. Masterclass tuition also includes group lessons, chamber music sessions, and various other activities that support students’ learning. Masterclass students vary in age, with current students ranging from 11 to 18 years.

Students apply for the masterclass in the spring, and new students begin at the start of the autumn term. The application process consists of an audition, an interview, and the teacher’s assessment of the student’s suitability. The masterclass panel reviews the applications and selects students according to the availability of places. Ask your instrument teacher for further information.
