The Western Customs House is open for the summer. Welcome to visit the building, the exhibitions an d the craft shop.

The Western customs house is one of two historical customs houses in Kristinestad. Until the year 1808, everyone arriving in town had to pay a customs fee for consuble goods they brought with them. These customs houses are unique, as similar ones have nott been in their original shape in either Finland or Sveden.
