A feel-good event for children and families during the back-to-school weekend
Schools are starting, and the roads are filled with inexperienced travelers. At the same time, many parents are beginning to consider extracurricular activities for their children after the summer. We combined these two important aspects and created the Liiku Turvallisesti (Move Safely) event for the whole family.
One of the main themes of the Liiku Turvallisesti event is behaving safely in traffic. Liikenneturva, along with traffic police officers Maltti and Valtti, familiar from children’s programs, will be there to help and educate. A pedal car track will be set up in the event area, where children can learn traffic behavior while having fun driving the cute cars.
The second main theme of the Liiku Turvallisesti event is children’s safe participation in clubs. We are bringing together local sports clubs and other activity providers to showcase their offerings. It is increasingly important for sports clubs to build a safe environment, both physically and mentally. Come find a safe hobby for your child.
The event will be held in the large parking lot next to the Vaasan Sähkö Arena (ice hall) on Saturday, August 10th, from 10 AM to 3 PM. The event is open to everyone, and there is no entrance fee.
