The hit song Kelle mä soitan by the German-Finnish Ilta, one of Finland’s most skilled singers, turned her into one of the country’s most popular artists overnight. Ilta, known for her strong and flexible voice, took third place in the 2021 UMK with the song, which is at the top of Spotify and radio playlists and has already collected more than eight million streams exclusively on Spotify.

The strength of Ilta is her ability to transport her listeners from one atmosphere to another. As an artist, Ilta wants to give her listeners what music has given her: a channel to feel all kinds of emotions and deal with life’s joys and sorrows. Ilta, who won the Iskelmä Gala’s Newcomer of the Year series with her debut album “Näitä hetkiä varten” and received an Emma nomination, released her second album “Mä oon vaan ihminen” on the first of September 2023. Around the same time, Ilta started as a new soloist on Yle’s popular Elämäni biisi programme.
