Hunger day at Vaasa market square

In connection with this year's Hunger Day collection we are organizing an event on the market square in Vaasa.
We hope that this celebration, in the spirit of work, will support the collection itself, but also be an opportunity to highlight and showcase the excellent work that our bransches are doing and the preparedness we maintain in the Red Cross.
We will be showcasing:
• Our evacuation tent, which also functions as a field hospital (EEC)
• A refugee tent with space for sleeping and cooking
• FRK Vasa Swedish department’s first aid car with staff on duty
• The health point where you can measure your blood pressure
• The Red Cross tent where our bransches will talk about their diverse activities
We are selling soup from our new field kitchen in favor of the disaster fund. The soup kitchen is completely new to our operations.
After your soup lunch, we offer a cup of coffee, which you can enjoy at the Meeting Place where you will also hear more about our friendship activities and work against loneliness.
On the square stage, we offer an official 90th-anniversary program with music, speeches, and greetings at 1:00 PM.
