A free guided tour about the turn of the century. Great societal changes seen from a local viewpoint.
On the Museum Thursday this week we will again offer a free guided tour about the turn of the century, at 13 o’clock in Swedish, at 14 o’clock in Finnish, and 15 o’clock in English. The guided tour is about the great changes happening in daily life in Ostrobothnia during the turn of the 20th century. We will tell you how modern-day Finland grew from new ideas brought on by education, along with novelties brought on by industry and local shops.
We will meet at the yellow info-stand, next to the parking area. Dress according to the weather, for we will be outside a lot.
Keep in mind: In January and February we will hold a temperature-limit for our outdoor programming, at -15 degrees Celsius.
