Friday Music Club at Aurora Botnia

Article categories: Music

Friday Music Club brings popular artists to Wasaline.

It’s the after-work gathering where no-one bails out early. It’s a show, a dinner and a shared experience in one. It’s performances from top artists at the price of a normal day cruise. It’s a party.

31.1.2025 Pandora

Pandora (Anneli Magnusson) broke through in 1993 with her first single “Trust Me”. Her background was in pop, acoustic folk and rock, but eurodance would be the genre to launch her international career.

Decades later, she continues to tour with an impressive catalogue of charttoppers such as “One of Us”, “Don’t You Know” and “This Could Be Heaven”.

28.3.2025 Ressu

With a decade-spanning successful career behind him, Ressu has at least an equally promising future ahead. After bringing 80’s teens to the brink of hystery, melting the nation’s hearts with 90’s ballads and visiting the eurodance genre, he returned to artistry in 2019 with a modern take on Finnish pop music.

Since that, he has been a household name at event venues across Finland.

25.4.2025 Movetron

Movetron rode the explosive first wave of Finnish eurodance in the mid-90’s with huge hits such as “Romeo ja Julia”, “Ristinolla” and “Flavio”. But the band was no quick splash – after a hiatus they came back in 2008 with “Ei kenenkään maa” and captured a new generation of fans.

And here they are now, 30 years later, still bringing joy to the audiences with both the classics and new singles they launch every once in a while.
