Waterways is a sound research on the different forms and states of water.
The collection of sounds recorded in the local area of Ostrobothnia, tells a story of sounds that are interwoven, from nature to inhabited areas. Recording and collecting environmental sounds has resulted in an audiotape presenting six tracks where the two artists present their artistic interpretation of the theme.

Waterways: “a cycle where the water change but is always the same “nothing is created, nothing is destroyed”

Biophilia: Jenni Österlund (FI) , Michele Uccheddu (FI/ ITA)
Biophilia: the idea that humans possess an innate tendency to seek connections with nature and other forms of life.

This performance builds on improvisation, live electronics and collected materials.
The work invites the audience to reflect on human attitudes towards our surroundings and the imbalance of power between human and nature.
