How to register as a job seeker
If you become unemployed or are laid off, register as a job seeker via Job Market Finland’s E-services as soon as possible. You can view detailed registration instructions here (jobmarket.fi).
To log in, you will need online banking credentials, a mobile certificate, or a chipped ID card. You must be a citizen of an EU or EEA country or Switzerland.

Being proactive and timely is crucial in your job search. Use a variety of channels and consider seeking ‘hidden jobs’ by directly contacting employers of interest, even if they don’t have advertised job openings. Social media, especially LinkedIn, is also an important tool for job searching today.
On Job Market Finland, you can browse all available jobs without logging in. As a registered user, you can create a job seeker profile and receive suggestions for open positions tailored to your skills. You can also choose which information to make visible to employers.
