Support for transitions

You can turn to us for help if you need to reduce staff. We offer transition security services that assist both the dismissed employee and you as the employer.

The purpose of the transition security scheme is to promote the employment of individuals who have been laid off or dismissed for production-related or economic reasons.

Transition security includes

  • paid leave for dismissed individuals to search for a new job
  • enhanced communication by the employer
  • an employment plan that supports employment, drafted jointly by the employer and employees
  • an employment plan created in Employment Services.
