Services to support recruitment

Are you looking for skilled employees? List your job vacancy with us, and we'll help you fill it. Our services also include international recruitment and tailored trainings, which will help you find new employees tailored to your organisation's needs.

List your job vacancy

We recommend posting job vacancies on the nationwide Job Market Finland website, where they will reach a large audience of active job seekers. You can add a job advertisement by logging in to the Job Market Finland platform.

If you are unable to add the job listing yourself, you can inform us directly, and we can post the job listing for you.

Phone us or send us an email. You can find our contact details and service hours on our contact page

If you need additional support with recruitment, feel free to contact us: We will manage job vacancy announcements through the agreed channels, offer guidance on the recruitment process, and identify and present suitable candidates to the employer.

In the case of candidate development, the position does not necessarily have to be opened for a public application process. We can also search for potential candidates in our applicant register through a so-called discreet search. The introduction includes basic information about the candidates, based on which you can contact them directly.

International recruitment and employment services

International job seekers already in Finland

If you are seeking international expertise for your company, you may want to first check if there is suitable talent already available in the area to meet your company’s needs. Our employment specialists provide assistance to companies recruiting international talent for the first time, as well as to organisations looking to further develop their practices in international recruitment.

International recruitment

If you’re having trouble finding employees in Finland, recruiting from abroad might be the solution to your problem.

Our experts will help you identify the most suitable target country and launch the recruitment process in collaboration with local partners. We also provide assistance with participating in trade fairs and marketing job vacancies. If the candidate you are recruiting is a permanent resident of an EU country, Norway, or Iceland, small and medium-sized enterprises are eligible for support covering part of the training and integration costs for the new employee or intern.

Learn more about the different options (jobmarket.fi).

Recruitment training

If you can’t find skilled employees, you can train them yourself through our recruitment training (RekryKoulutus). The training is tailored to the company’s needs and it includes theoretical instruction, guided on-the-job learning, and internships. Those who successfully complete the training will be employed by the company.

The employer and the Employment Services jointly fund the training. The employer’s share is 30 percent of the total price according to the procurement contract. This service is available within the funding allocated to the Employment Services. So, get in touch with us early on so we can assess your company’s eligibility for support.

Pay subsidy

As an employer, you may receive a pay subsidy when hiring an unemployed jobseeker who faces challenges in finding employment. Employment challenges may result from various factors, including prolonged unemployment, a lack of vocational skills, disability, or illness.

Please note that we currently provide pay subsidy only to companies. This service is available within the funding allocated to the Employment Services. So, get in touch with us early on so we can assess your company’s eligibility for support.

The pay subsidy is paid directly to the employer, with possible payment dates being the 15th and 30th of each month. Please note that there is currently a delay in payments due to a processing interruption caused by the system update at the turn of the year.
