Walking the dog
My young Tibetan spaniel is very eager to say hello to both other dogs and people, so when we go for walks, we usually always end up talking with someone. I remember once when I started talking to a young couple I didn’t know, first apologising for my dog’s eagerness after he had approached them. We continued to chat, and it turned out that they had lost their dog a few months earlier and they were missing her a lot.
They wanted to know more about my experiences of Tibetan spaniels, and I was happy to tell them. We ended up talking for almost an hour before parting and wishing each other a nice day. It’s a nice moment to remember and I often wonder if they ever got a new dog.
