Vaasa Premises Management Office
The function of the Vaasa Premises Management Office is to provide office services for the needs of the various administrative branches of the city.
The Vaasa Premises Management Office is responsible for the maintenance of the properties under its control, as well as the management and leasing of the premises. In addition, the Vaasa Premises Management Office is responsible for building construction projects in accordance with the city’s investment programme.
The Vaasa Premises Management Office oversees approximately 390,000 m2 of office space, of which approximately 94% is owned by the city. About 90% of the premises under management are leased for internal use in the city. The most important user groups are schools and kindergartens, as well as social and healthcare sectors.
The purpose of the Vaasa Premises Management Office is to provide cost-effective office services so that users of the premises have access to appropriate, safe and healthy premises. In addition, the Vaasa Premises Management Office aims to maintain the value of the building properties under its control.
