Ilkivallaton porkkana project
The "Ilkivallaton porkkana" is a youth work development project implemented by the City of Vaasa in cooperation with Youth Services and Public Utility Services. The aim of the project is to co-create measures and models together with young people, Youth Services and Public Utility Services with the aim of preventing vandalism in outdoor spaces in the City of Vaasa and creating a safer and more pleasant urban environment.
The aim of the development project is to plan and implement together with young people the operating model, the various measures of which will prevent and reduce vandalism in outdoor spaces in the City of Vaasa and create a safer and more pleasant urban environment. The planning of the operating models and measures to be developed during the project will take place using participatory and co-creation methods, especially with young people.
The aim is to involve different groups of young people in the planning, for example from different residential areas, age groups, schools and existing youth advocacy groups. During the project, the aim is to involve young people in the planning and thus get young people’s ideas involved in the development and development of residential areas.
