The services and development activities organized by youth services are financed with external funding, such as state grants or grants available from the EU and foundations.
The ReCoCreaYouth project strengthens young people's opportunities for participation and influence using co-development methods. The project receives funding from the Erasmus+ program.
Youth services and Public Utility Services, together with young people, are developing methods of action to prevent vandalism in the outdoor spaces of the city of Vaasa.
The AHAA project is a long-term cooperation between Vaasa's youth services and the Nissi Foundation. Through the project, young people are offered hobby activities as well as guidance and counselling.
Vaasa model for leisure activities arranges free hobby activities for students in grades 1–9 in Vaasa. About 1000 students from Vaasa participate in the hobby activities every week.
In Vaasa's youth services, outreach youth work is carried out by 6 youth workers. Outreach youth work is supported with state aid.
Youth workshop Kartturi young people in age of 15 and 29 get support in managing their lives or planning for the future. The operation is supported by a state subsidy.
