Personnel Services
Personnel Services manages the City's human resources policy in accordance with the City Strategy and Personnel Programme and supports management in achieving its strategic goals. Personnel Services are part of the Central Administration.
Core task
The core task of Personnel Services is to take care of the personnel employed by the City of Vaasa:
- recruitment
- development of personnel skills and wellbeing at work
- pay and employment counselling
- occupational health and safety
- collaboration matters
- promoting employment (wage subsidies)
- and workplace communications in connection with the city’s communications services.
Payroll issues are handled by MicoBotnia Oy.
